According to the European Institute for Gender Equality, Gender-based violence is considered a phenomenon deeply rooted in gender inequality and continues to be one of the most notable human rights violations within all societies. The Institute further suggests that Gender-based violence is violence directed against a person because of their gender- both women and men experience gender-based violence but most victims are women and girls.

It is on such conviction, practical experiences, and the daily happenings of Gender-Based Violence in Liberia that Girls for Change is taking action to help eliminate all forms of Violence against women and girls as enshrined in the UN conventions that protect women and girls and national actions that equally fulfill and support women protection.

•           Peer Health Education
